Xcalibur is a software and IT consulting firm providing information
management and application development services to the federal government.
All agencies within the federal government can use the GSA Schedule to
contract with Xcalibur for any information technology initiative. Through
Xcalibur's existing GSA Contract GS 35F0072L, we have already been
awarded contracts with the Department of the Navy, the Department of
Commerce, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
The GSA Federal Supply Schedule IT Contract is structured as an
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task order/delivery
order contract whose orders may be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) or Time
and Materials (T&M). A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is a new
method for agencies to meet agency-wide acquisition requirements.
Agencies can now prepare and award a BPA based upon the Federal
Supply Schedule. Government agencies can typically award a contract
within 3-7 days under the GSA Schedule, and once a BPA has been put
in place can usually make an award within a week.
