Vienna, VA. (August 14, 2007)-XCALIBUR, a leading provider of technology, engineering, and consulting services to the public sector, today made public its Board of Advisors. This distinguished group includes nationally acclaimed business leaders in public sector and commercial markets, as well as esteemed experts in defense, intelligence and public policy issues.

The Advisory Board consists of the Honorable John Breaux, senior counsel with Patton Boggs and a former U.S. Representative and Senator from Louisiana:. Mr. Sidney E. Fuchs, president and chief executive officer of OAO Technology Solutions, Inc. and a former Central Intelligence Agency officer and Northrop Grumman senior executive; Mr. Peter Marino, an expert on defense and intelligence issues who held positions as the director of Technical Service at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and president and chief operating officer at Lockheed Electronics Co.; Mr. Chris Cantarella, a principal at Heidrick and Struggles who also held a key leadership role in Ernst & Young's Private Equity Practice; and Mr. Tom Weston, executive vice president and chief financial officer for QinetiQ North America.

The Honorable John Breaux

Senator Breaux joined Patton Boggs as senior counsel upon his retirement from the U.S. Senate in 2005. He provides strategic advice to the firm’s attorneys and clients on a wide range of public policy matters, with special concentration in the areas of health care and energy law. With a long and distinguished public service career, he was elected to the House of Representatives in 1972, representing the 7th District of Louisiana for 14 years before being elected to the Senate in 1986.

Senator Breaux was a founder of the Centrist Coalition of Senate Democrats and Republicans and served as Chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council. In 2005 president George W. Bush appointed Senator Beaux as the Co-Chair of the President’s Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform, and was chosen in 2006 as a member of the Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy at the U.S. Department of State. Senator Breaux also serves on the boards of CSX Corporation and IMG Corporation.

Mr. Sidney E. Fuchs

Mr. Fuchs is president and CEO, and a director of OAO Technology Solutions, Inc (OAOT), a privately held global IT company that supports government and commercial customers worldwide. Previously, Mr. Fuchs served as a corporate officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation and was president of Northrop’s Civilian Agencies Group and TASC, Inc. Prior to this he held various leadership positions at Rational Software, Oracle and Digital Equipment Corporation, and served as a Central Intelligence Agency Officer from 1987 to 1995. In 2002, he was nominated by the White House and received a federal appointment to the Board of Visitors, National Defense University (NDU) and in 2003 was named an NDU Distinguished Visiting Fellow.

A published author and speaker, Mr. Fuchs is also a member of the CEO Panel for the Information Technology Association of America’s (ITAA) Coalition for America’s High Tech Future and served on the boards of AFCEA International, Millennium Bank, Roam Secure, Inc., Joint Military Intelligence College Foundation, Fairfax County Public Library Foundation, Tower Club, the LSU Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Potomac Officer’s Club, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and Pi Tau Sigma. He earned BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Louisiana State University and has completed numerous executive programs.

Mr. Peter Marino

Mr. Marino is a nationally acclaimed expert on defense and intelligence issues. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Marino held various senior executive positions including the director of Technical Service at the CIA, president/COO of both Lockheed Electronics Co., Inc. and Fairfield Industries, Inc., Sr. vice president of E-Systems, Inc., and CEO and president of Fire Arms Training Systems.

A published author of several technical papers, Mr. Marino has also served on numerous boards, including current membership on the Defense Science Board, chairman of the National Geo-Spatial Intelligence Agency Advisory Group, and the Defense Science Board's task force on Intelligence for Homeland Defense. Mr. Marino also serves on the board of Qinetiq North America. He received a BS in Physics from Rollins College and a MS in Acoustics from Pennsylvania State University.

Mr. Chris Cantarella

Mr. Cantarella is a Principal at the global executive search firm of Heidrick and Struggles in their Private Equity Practice. He focuses on placing senior executives for Private Equity backed aerospace & defense, technology, and industrial companies. Previously, he was a key leader in Ernst & Young's Private Equity Practice, working closely with scores of technology and defense-related companies, as well as with the private equity and venture capital funds who backed them. Prior to becoming the CEO of a software company, he was an internal auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he served as a U.S. Naval Officer. Mr. Cantarella serves as a board member for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the NVTC Entrepreneurship Center, and the National Capitol Area Kidney Foundation. He is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Maryland and George Washington University. Mr. Cantarella received a BS in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from George Washington University, and is a graduate of Harvard's High Potentials Leadership Program.

Mr. Tom Weston

Mr. Weston has 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting field and is the executive vice president and chief financial officer for QinetiQ North America, a company that provides world class technology and responsive solutions to its customers in the information technology and technology research and development fields.

Mr. Weston joined QinetiQ North America from Apogen Technologies, Inc. where he led the sale of Apogen Technologies to QinetiQ Group plc. Prior to this he was the senior vice president and CFO for federal information technology services company BTG, Inc. and also led the successful negotiation and sale of BTG to Titan Corporation. He has twice been a finalist for Northern Virginia Technology Council’s CFO of the Year award and, in 2006, was a finalist for Executive of the Year at the 4th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards ceremony.
