The challenge: The Delta Project team had a need to implement a solution to streamline the process of analyzing postsecondary education costs and trends across comparison institutions or custom generated peer groups. The Delta Project’s database contains a wealth of well thought out and developed data reflecting institutional costs, productivity and accountability. The Delta Project has utilized many years of IPEDS data to compile a database that is as complete and consistent over time as possible from IPEDS data. As the database is currently well derived and developed, the task here is not to re-create indicators, rather, to create a system that presents the IPEDS/Delta Project data in the best way to set the Delta Project system apart from others.

Solution: TCSOnline is an easy-to-use system with pre-defined reports that are easily understood, the system provides reports that are pertinent and relevant, and the user can create custom reports from the data made available on the website creating peer groups and peer reports.
